The self-cleaning dry vacuum system gives you oil-free vacuum with all the necessary features to ensure long, trouble free operation. The heart of the system is a two stage flexible diaphragm pump. With fluorinated plastics used on all wetted surfaces, including the diaphragm, the pump is built to resist aggressive chemical vapors. Failure of a membrane pump using fluorinated plastics commonly comes from the build-up of liquids or solid residue over time on the diaphragm or internal valves. Several protective features are incorporated in the system to keep these corrosion resistent components functioning.
